Сегодня известно, что в оливковом масле содержится олеокантал – вещество, обладающее противовоспалительным и обезболивающим действием. Его механизм воздействия схож с действием ибупрофена.

А если учесть тот факт, что греки считаются абсолютными лидерами по потреблению оливкового масла — более 20 литров в год на человека? Кроме этого, Греция – третья в мире страна по производству оливкового масла и первая по производству масла первого холодного отжима (более 80%).
